Tilly and The Buttons – Cleo Dungaree Dress

Tilly and The Buttons – Cleo Dungaree Dress

The Cleo pattern by Tilly and the Buttons has been super popular and I thought it was about time that I made one for myself.

The instructions are very easy to follow and it was straightforward to put together. I made a Size 3 but i’m not sure if it is a little too wide at the waist (I may make a size smaller next time). I made the knee length version without the front split. I like the shorter length but I spend a lot of time crawling around after a toddler so this length is more practical for me. I think it’s going to look great with a chunky cardi and a pair of boots!

I’m tempted to make another from this ex designer Air Force Blue Cotton Corduroy that we have in stock at the moment. On this one I will use a finer fabric for the facings. I will also make the straps a couple of inches shorter.
