Fabrics for the Tilly and the Buttons Leah Top and Dress
Share
Tilly and the Buttons latest pattern has been released and it is the perfect addition to your summer sewing wardrobe. This versatile sewing pattern includes a shift top, shift dress, peplum top and tiered midi dress.

One of my favourite details is the optional side ties on the peplum top and tiered dress versions. Side ties have been popping up all over the high street recently, they add a lovely modern detail to the top and dress.
This pattern is aimed at confident beginners, Tilly and the Buttons are known for their very detailed sewing instructions.
I currently don't have this pattern in stock but you can purchase it directly from Tilly's website and get started on sewing one straight away.
I have some beautiful fabrics in stock which would be perfect for sewing this pattern...

Fabric for the Shift Dress Version
If you'd like to sew the shift dress version Tilly suggests a medium weight woven fabric which will hold its shape, for example linen, jacquard, cotton twill or lightweight canvas

This cotton and linen blend would be perfect for a shift dress. It has a nice amount of weight to it, but is also lovely and breathable to wear on a hot summers day.
