About Us

I’m Katie and I own and run Sew Sew Sew. I live in North Yorkshire with my husband and our two gorgeous boys. My love of sewing has come from my mum, who is a very talented sewer, machine embroiderer and quilter. I didn’t really start to sew until I moved away from home which was very silly as it would have saved countless phone calls to mum with sewing problems! I love all kinds of sewing, particularly dressmaking, making roman blinds and other items for our home, and making keepsake teddy bears. I set up Sew Sew Sew as I was finding it very difficult to find good quality and reasonably priced dressmaking fabrics where I live in North Yorkshire. I stock a range of beautiful dressmaking fabrics, sewing patterns and haberdashery.
