The Weekly Stitch: 30/06/2025

I can hardly believe it’s nearly the end of June already. The school summer holidays are creeping up, which means we have sports day, an open evening, sponsored walk and a summer play all lined up to keep us busy—on top of the usual clubs and commitments! Is anyone else feeling a little frazzled?

To add to the chaos, we’re having a new bathroom fitted at home, so weekends have been full of DIY. That means no sewing time for me at the moment unfortunately.

I’m absolutely loving seeing what you’re making with my fabrics and dreaming about all the things I want to sew when I have a little more time in the coming weeks. Thank you for sharing your beautiful makes, I love seeing them.

LAST CHANCE

I'm down to the last 3 metres of the amazing Fabric Godmother Palm Tree Cotton Broderie Anglaise in Periwinkle and I only have a 1.9m remnant piece left of the matching Palma Cotton Lawn Fabric. I've linked to these below, along with a couple of lovely remnant pieces that would look great sewn up into summery garments.
