This combed cotton chambray fabric is dark blue. It is similar in weight to a cotton poplin and feels soft to the touch. You could use this fabric for sewing shirts, blouses and lightweight dresses.

What is combed cotton? Before being woven the cotton fibres are passed through fine combs which remove any short and broken fibres along with any dirt, leaving only the straight, long and parallel fibres which once woven makes a smooth and soft fabric.
