Embroidered Patchwork Cotton Fabric in Apple Green

This is such an unusual fabric! It has a patchwork design featuring apple green squares which have beautiful embroidery across them in cream and then  gorgeous open weave crochet / embroidered panels which are so intricate. The open weave panels are sheer. You could use this fabric to sew yourself an amazing jacket like the Sew Over It Sylvia Robe, a pretty top or how about a beach cover up. Depending on what you make with this fabric you might want to line it. I can't wait to see what you make with this!

The green square panels measure approx 15.5 x 15.5 cm

The cream / natural crochet panels measure approx 16 x 16 cm

The green panels are similar in weight to a cotton poplin. The crochet panels are soft and would be comfortable to wear.

Composition: The supplier has listed this fabric is 100% Cotton, however the open weave cream panels have a very fine nylon thread holding the intricate crochet in place. Please be careful to avoid melting this thread when you are ironing, it is advisable to use a pressing cloth.
